Mike Yen is an award-winning, modern mixologist and active member of the US Bartenders Guild. With over 15 years of mixology experience, Yen’s skillset covers a range of subgenres, from cocktail catering, to gastropubs, to 5 star, 5 diamond resorts. Mike Yen has been featured in various print and television media, including the Cooking Channel. The past 10+ years have focused on modernist, progressive technique, which is often labeled as “molecular mixology”.
Through innovative technique and modern equipment, San Diego Mixology offers unique cocktail concepts that will add exclusivity and a wow factor to any private party, wedding, or corporate event. Modern equipment like rotary evaporators, centrifuges, and ultra-sonic processors are all utilized to transform cocktails into unique vehicles for flavors.
